A Home Business Can Be The Answer To More Time With Family
The average stay at home parent does a variety of jobs, like maid, cook, chauffeur and referee on a daily basis. Although this seems like a considerable amount of work, more families are towards having one parent remain in the house. A growing trend is to have the male spouse or partner stay at home, while the women remain in their high income jobs, maintaining their positions as the main bread winners and the insurance provider for the family.
For a considerable amount of time, post World War I, it seems that families began to take a back seat to business opportunities. Children have begun to spend more time with their hired day care workers, than the individuals that have pledged to take care of them. By returning at least one parent to the house on a full time basis, trust and security bonds are being returned to the children. Children depend on their parents to successfully coach them, showing them morals, responsibilities, and love. They are learning from birth that the family is their first priority, not their last. Having a stay at home parent may cause the finances to no longer stretch as far as they once used to, but the children are given learning opportunities that they may not have been accustomed to in a typical day care setting.
The parents are also given a chance at personal development. The parent becomes available to take the child to places, such as museums, plays, zoos, or historical sites. The children are able to learn at their own paces, and to be able to receive specialized attention from someone that truly has their best interest at heart. The child is able to ask questions and receive in-depth answers, which are more geared towards their learning abilities. Their learning is more personalized to the individual child, as opposed to the average learning of a child of a similar age. Having your child grow up in an environment that they can thrive in is more rewarding than the usual business opportunity.
If money does become an issue, then there are several options that a parent can take to help support their family. Home based businesses are growing on a daily basis, and have almost doubled in popularity within the last decade. Those parents that enjoyed previous sales careers do particularly well with these ventures. They are the movers that draw attention to their products and services. They do not wait for the customer to approach them, but make the customer feel that they always have been in need of this service. Having a home business affords the parent a chance to financially help out, but still remain at the house with the children, and cutting down significantly on the costs of outside baby sitters or day care centers. Having a home business may give the child a look into leadership training, by showing them how to balance all aspects of their life and how to take control of their futures. It teaches the children a sense of self assurance and to be self sufficient.
Having at least one parent at the house gives the child a chance to really learn more about their families and themselves, as they grow. The children are given every opportunity possible to learn things in ways that might not have been afforded to them with a day care worker over seeing their learning. Children who are able to learn in this environment tend to learn quicker once they reach school age and have a better basis of self dependence than those who are used to being taught in large groups. Having a child who is able to reap these kinds of rewards is more fulfilling to a parent than any high income opportunity could possibly be.
